Airport Services

Stewart Airport's main terminal was completely redesigned in 1998. It is equipped with facilities to accommodate persons with disabilities as well as families with small children. Hudson News/Euro Café is located in the gate area on the second floor. Car rental agencies, terminal paging, and Lost and Found are some of the other services readily available within the terminal. The terminal is open from 4:30 a.m. until 1 a.m.

Access for Travelers with Disabilities:

  • A limited number of wheelchairs are available at the airport, but may not be available at all entrances.
  • Terminal restrooms are equipped for persons with disabilities.
  • Wheelchair accessible phones are available and equipped with TDD for persons with hearing impairments.
  • An elevator is located past security screening to reach the departure gates.
  • Special accommodations are made for persons with disabilities who require long-term parking. Parking spaces for persons with disabilities have been designated in our Short Term Parking Lot directly across from the terminal. Additional information can be obtained by calling Republic Parking System at (845) 567-0048.

ATM: Key Bank has an ATM machine at the terminal near the baggage claim area. The ATM will handle cash withdrawals, balance inquiries, transfers between accounts, and PIN changes, as well as dispense postage stamps. Customers may call 1-800-KEY2YOU for assistance with the ATM.

 

Baggage Claim: Baggage Claim is located on the main level of the terminal to the right of security screening upon arrival at the Airport. If luggage did not arrive, passengers need to make a claim from their respective airlines.

 

Boarding Gates: The boarding gates for each airline are located on the second level of the terminal building. Each airline has accommodations for travelers with disabilities.

Family Restrooms: A Family Restroom, located on the main level across from baggage claim, is designed for families with small children who need diaper-changing facilities.

Lost and Found: For lost items on your plane, or baggage claim area, call your airline. For items lost at other areas of the airport, you may call 845-564-7200, press 1, wait for the second menu, then press 8, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Leave a message and the General Manager will call you back.

Passenger Drop Off and Pick Up: There is no parking in front of or next to any of our terminals, not even for a moment. Terminal frontages are for active loading and unloading only. Unattended vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense. When dropping off or picking up a passenger, we recommend you park your vehicle in the short-term parking lot. If you chose to enter the terminal with the passenger, please be aware that only ticketed passengers will be allowed past the security checkpoint.

Smoking: Smoking is prohibited in all public areas inside the passenger terminals at Stewart Airport.
